Creative Collaborations

To make sure we’re on the same page and that the collaboration benefits us equally, here are my guidelines for creative collaborations:

This is a creative test shoot, not a free portrait session.

The goal is to:

• Create high-quality portfolio content

• Elevate both of our aesthetics

• Produce marketable images for social media and branding

• Strategically grow reach and engagement for both of us

If our creative goals don’t align, I’d rather pass respectfully.

All collabs are planned, not improvised.

• We will create a shared Freeform mood board

• Wardrobe, hair, makeup, and overall vibe must be approved before shoot day

• I act as creative director for lighting, framing, and final image polish

• You are encouraged to contribute ideas, references, and poses

No last-minute changes without approval.

This must be decided before booking:

• Hair & makeup can be:

– Done professionally (model covers cost unless otherwise agreed)

– Done by the model (must match the mood board)

• Clean, polished makeup is required — no rushed or unfinished looks

• Wardrobe must be approved in advance (no substitutions on shoot day)

If professional makeup is required for the concept, that will be discussed up front.

• Studio or location is chosen based on the concept

• Date and time must be confirmed at least 48 hours in advance

• Reschedules must be communicated early — repeated cancellations end future collab opportunities

• You will receive a select number of edited images (not full galleries)

• We will both make the final image selections to maintain brand consistency for both parties

• Turnaround time will be communicated in advance

• Additional images may be purchased if desired

RAW images are never delivered.

This is non-negotiable.

• Images may not be posted until both parties approve

• Instagram Collab Post is required when applicable

• I must be properly tagged and credited in captions and images

• No heavy filters, cropping, or edits added to my images

• No use of images for paid ads, brand deals, or commercial use without written permission

If posting rules aren’t followed, future collaborations will not continue.

Before or during the shoot, we will briefly discuss:

• How and when we’re posting

• Reels vs photos vs stories

• Captions, tags, and engagement strategy

• How the content benefits both audiences

This is intentional content, not random posting.

• Clear communication is expected

• Punctuality matters

• Energy and effort matter — come prepared

• If expectations aren’t met, I reserve the right to end the shoot early

Both parties agree to maintain a professional, respectful, and collaborative environment at all times.

• Punctuality is required

• Clear and timely communication is expected

• The Model agrees to arrive fully prepared and on time

Card on File Requirement

• A valid credit or debit card is required to be placed on file to confirm the collaboration

• A $5 authorization hold will be placed on the card prior to the shoot

• The $5 hold is not a charge and will be released after the session

• The card on file will only be used if late or rescheduling fees apply

Late Policy

• A grace period of 10 minutes is allowed

• Arrivals more than 10 minutes late will incur a $100 late fee, charged to the card on file

• Excessive lateness may result in the shoot being shortened or canceled at the photographer’s discretion

Rescheduling Policy

• Rescheduling requests must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance

• Any approved reschedule will incur a $150 rescheduling fee, charged to the card on file

• Repeated reschedules may result in denial of future collaborations

No exceptions will be made to late or rescheduling fees.

The photographer reserves the right to end the shoot if expectations are not met or professionalism is compromised.
